Few rappers have managed to maximize mixtape release the way Papoose has and how he did over the past few years. Over the course of his career, Papoose has been involved in many major situations and holds a leading position in the rap game. All of the majors respect what Papoose has done for hip hop.
This year, Papoose successfully released his long-awaited debut album, The Nacirema Dream, in March. In the months since the album was released, Papoose has had continued success through his “Get At Me” single with Ron Browz. Papoose made bigger headlines for crashing Hot 97’s Summer Jam last month, however.
Earlier this month, Hip Hop Vibe talked to Papoose about his Summer Jam crashing, among other things. Papoose has continued with the rounds with the media, stopping by to see DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God at Power 105.1. Talking to “The Breakfast Club,” Papoose spoke on crashing Summer Jam, his wife Remy Ma, the social media issues, and finally releasing The Nacirema Dream.
