Unless folks are Rockets fans, right now, Patrick Beverley is the type of player basketball fans love to watch. He is the perpetual thorn in the side of any team’s best player. Tonight, Pat Bev has been giving all kinds of heck to James Harden and Russell Westbrook.
This was something the Rockets loved, when Beverley played for them, and Steph Curry was the one he was giving problems. The first sign of weakness of that 73-9 Warriors’ squad was Houston winning Game 3. A lot of that was Pat Bev’s work.
Patrick Beverley, tonight, came with it, making James Harden trip and fall out of bounds with the ball. Then, he’s making Russell Westbrook play peacemaker, as he and Ben McLemore are going at it. All of this has made for an interesting Twitter thread, where Pat Bev is the top trending topic.
