Patrick Xavier Clark indicted for shooting of Takeoff
Back in the early hours of November, Migos rapper Takeoff was shot and killed outside of a Houston bowling alley, 810 Billiards & Bowling, after a heated dice game nearby ensured. Quavo was also present, as Take was hit after shots were fired.
As a result, local Houston DJ Patrick Xavier Clark went on to be arrested, and $2 million bond was placed. Following Clark’s initial December arrest, he was said to have applied for an expedited passport, in order to flee to Mexico.
Furthermore, Clark was able to get his bond reduced in January, and posted $1 million bond. Therefore, he was met with various conditions that he had to follow, in the aftermath of this release. A “concerned citizen and family friend” was who reportedly assisted him in getting the funds to post this bond amount. Meanwhile, Clark has now been formally indicted for the murder of Takeoff, according to KHOU 11.
A Texas grand jury indicted Clark on murder charges on Thursday. This was confirmed by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. As a result of this indictment, many anticipate that Clark could face life in prison. He previously maintained his innocence in this case. Clark is said to have fired shots after an argument outside of the bowling alley occurred, and fingerprints on an abandoned bottle led police to finding him.
