Patriots fan beaten to death by Dolphins fan during game
There are a large number of sports fans who take things entirely too seriously. By design, sports are intended to evoke a level of emotion from fans. However, there’s always one person that takes things too far. A part of the fun of attending sporting events is having fun with opposing fans. While one person may prefer one team over the other, everyone is supposed to love the sport. Unfortunately, a fan of the New England Patriots lost his life to a Miami Dolphins fan, over the game, last night.
When it comes to professional team sports, a lot of work goes into it. On the field, and behind the scenes, teams work in order to field the best possible team. Sometimes, this includes the tough decisions of sacrificing a season to win the top draft pick, if the rising talent is skilled. In addition, this means getting rid of a star player, if they’re having a negative impact on the team. There’s only two jobs a fan has, which is to either support their team, or not.
One fan of the Miami Dolphins took the fandom entirely too far. During the game against the New England Patriots, the Dolphins fan ended up getting into an altercation with a Patriots fan. The altercation ended with the Patriots’ fan, Dale Moony, dead. A husband and father of two children lost his life, at 30 years old, while just trying to create a good memory, and enjoy the game. Instead, he’s gone, and the people who could have helped, recorded the situation.
