Watching the “Tales” season premiere, it’s almost as if the viewers missed something. Vivica (Draya Michele) is telling the story of her love life, admitting she came between two brothers. These brothers have an intense rivalry… for no reason?
Jimmy (Thomas Q. Jones) was with Vivica, but got arrested and sent to prison, after a street fight. The decade he was gone saw Vivica move on with Paul (Elijah Kelley), his little brother. When Jimmy came from prison, he and Paul had instant beef.
It’s clear, watching the episode, the tension comes from Paul. Even their dad, Malcolm (Isaiah Washington) hints at that, lamenting he was glad Paul didn’t also go to prison. But, the brothers were close, Jimmy protected Paul, but Paul took his girl, rubbed it in Jimmy’s face, accused Jimmy of hitting her, and more.
Twitter firmly dislikes Paul and it’s understandable, because of how he’s acting. Fans on Twitter say he is both insecure and trifling, for how he treats his brother and his girlfriend. On top of that, Black Twitter offered to put hands on Paul, if Jimmy needs it.
