Paul Pierce gets roasted on Twitter for his #Game7 comments about LeBron James

There is no doubting the impact Paul Pierce had on the NBA and he was the last player to lead the Celtics to a championship. But, when discussions of the all-time greats come up, Pierce won’t get the same type of mentions as some others. Still, he was a very good player.

However, LeBron James is a great player, as was Kobe Bryant, and as is the Warriors’ leader, Steph Curry. Had it not been for Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen joining the Celtics, Paul Pierce would still be battling first round playoff series. But, the Big Three did form and they did wreck.

Paul Pierce enjoyed a very intense rivalry with LeBron James, started during the 2008 playoffs. In 2012, their rivalry officially ended, not counting the Nets’ matchup. Tonight, Pierce provided pregame commentary, but still plays for the Clippers, but his comments about LeBron not facing him tonight gave Twitter a good laugh.
