Social media has been all over Paul Walker today, as his death was reported by major media outlets.

Apparently, Paul Walker was in Los Angeles on Friday and he took his Porsche for a spin while he was in town. According to the report, Paul Walker and an unnamed friend were driving in Los Angeles when he lost control of the vehicle. The car ended up crashing into a tree and exploding.

For a brief while, there were rumors of Paul Walker’s death being some type of internet hoax. The news was a bit of relief for the public, but then reality officially set in. A post from Paul Walker’s Facebook that syndicated to his Twitter confirmed that the actor is dead today at forty years old.
