Because of the comments Donald Trump has made about race, many have written him off as a racist. The defending comments Mike Pence, the new Vice President, have made don’t help. Last night, Mike Pence tweeted about Black History Month, starting more controversy.
Mike Pence, likely trying to bring more attention to the Republican Party and their history with African-Americans tweeted about Abraham Lincoln freeing the slaves. Among the highest-profile clapbacks was Trey Songz, who owned the VP. This morning, Pence is also dealing with the rest of Twitter coming for him for his ill-advised tweet.
