Peter Rosenberg labels Spike Lee a traitor for partying with the Miami Heat on Hot 97 [VIDEO]

When the New York Knicks revamped their roster in 2011, sports fans looked forward to the rekindling of the Knicks’ rivalry with the Heat. This year, it looked as if fans would finally see the Miami Heat and the New York Knicks battle it out. These hopes were dashed when the Indiana Pacers demolished them in the second round.

One major change in the old school NBA and this current incarnation of the league is that the competition is dead. Facing difficulties winning on their own, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh joined together with the Miami Heat to win titles. With similar issues, Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony came together in New York.

With competition being dead, for the most part, Spike Lee took part in the celebration with the Miami Heat. When the Knicks got beaten out of the playoffs, Spike Lee shifted his support to the Miami Heat and partied with them after they repeated as NBA champions. Peter Rosenberg spoke on this during his show on Hot 97, calling Spike Lee a traitor.
