Peter Rosenberg responds to Lil Wayne’s explanation for pulling Young Money out of Summer Jam 2012 [VIDEO]

The goal of Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2012 was to leave the people talking well after the concert took place. This has indeed been the case, but not for the reasons many would expect. Nicki Minaj was slated to perform at Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2012. Before she took the stage, Peter Rosenberg made disparaging comments about Nicki’s music, leading to her not taking the stage.

Lil Wayne stepped in, revealing via Twitter Young Money would not be performing at Summer Jam for 2012. After pulling Young Money out, Hot 97’s personalities began making comments about Nicki Minaj, discrediting her. Nicki Minaj called in to speak with Funkmaster Flex and the conversation got heated. Eventually, Nicki Minaj talked to Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club.”

Over the past two weeks, the feud has been between Power 105.1 and Hot 97, renewing their decade-long rivalry. Yesterday, however, Lil Wayne gave his reason for pulling Young Money out of the concert, saying Nicki Minaj was a woman and all women deserve respect. Peter Rosenberg has obviously heard about this and delivered his own response on Hot 97.
