Words cannot express what Kobe Bryant meant, and still means to this world, and how badly he is missed. On Sunday, nine lives were taken, but the lives of millions were forever changed. The city of Los Angeles shut down, on the day of the Grammys, as it was all about Kobe.

For years, Jerry West’s iconic silhouette was the NBA’s logo. But, since the modern era, there have been calls to change the logo, with most wanting Michael Jordan’s Jumpman to be the logo. In the wake of the untimely death of Kobe Bryant, opinions have changed.

When people began to process that Kobe Bryant was dead, immediate demands were made for him to become the NBA logo. A young man, named Nick, took it upon himself to enact change. He started a petition to the NBA for them to change the logo to Kobe Bryant, setting a goal of 3 million, having already reached 2.5 million.
