Pharrell pays off debts of college students in Washington D.C.

Pharrell’s Something In The Water festival is currently going down in Washington, D.C. This is the first time that Something In The Water has been held in D.C., as it’s usually in Pharrell’s hometown of Virginia Beach.

Now, Pharrell is making even more of an impact, in the D.C. area. According to TMZ, Pharrell helped pay off all the student debts of college students in D.C., on Friday night.

Pharrell assisted NAACP student leaders, as three are students, and two are recent graduates. This news was revealed during an NAACP panel on the Black student debt crisis. Pharrell went on to take photos with the students after the panel, as they were all smiles, after this amazing news. This also helped one student get them through law school, as they will be attending soon.

Pharrell made high school seniors’ weeks last week, as he also gave them free tickets to Something In The Water. Among the performers headlining the festival this weekend are Pharrell, SZA, Justin Timberlake, Chloe x Halle, Usher, T.I., Roddy Ricch, and more. Last week, Pharrell also released a new single with 21 Savage and Tyler, The Creator, “Cash In Cash Out.
