Last fall, Pharrell made his debut as an author with his book, Places and Spaces I’ve Been. The Virginia musical talent has had his hands in several pots over the course of his career, which spans well over ten years. Venturing into publishing is not unheard of territory for members of the hip hop community.
The book was the prequel to Pharrell’s comeback. While he is back working with Jay-Z and Kanye West, among the others, Pharrell is playing a bigger role. Pharrell is playing a pivotal part in the development of the “New West” movement in Los Angeles. ScHoolboy Q and Tyler, the Creator are among the rappers working with him.
Pharrell has been making his rounds with the media and already talked to DJ Enuff on the Angie Martinez show for Hot 97. But, in his latest Hot 97 interview, Pharrell spoke with Peter Rosenberg. Holding down Rosenberg, Pharrell spoke on his book and the artists he is working with.
