PJ Tucker gets trashed for mistreating equipment manager
PJ Tucker joined the Houston Rockets, last year. Last season, the Rockets were destined. Chris Paul joined the team. In addition, James Harden had an MVP season. As a result, the Rockets won a league best 65 games. However, they lost a heartbreaking Game 7 to the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.
This season, the Rockets are facing the Warriors again. Unlike last season, the Warriors have home court advantage. In addition, Golden State was leading the series 2-1, heading into Game 4. Before the game started, PJ Tucker seemed to be amped for the game. In the midst of getting ready to get on the floor, Tucker seemingly tossed his warm-up gear on the head of the team assistants.
PJ Tucker got a lot of negative feedback on Twitter for doing this. Many people saw this as disrespectful towards the Rockets’ staff. It’s not uncommon for professional athletes to do things that people find offensive. Most of the times, the situations are taken out of context. Given how social media works, this has become more common. But, PJ’s situation is one where people think it’s more cut and dry.

This is a bad look for any player. Especially someone who’s been in the league 9 years and averages 7 points in their career 🥴 PJ Tuckerpic.twitter.com/rzX6V8VXpF
