Currently, Playboi Carti is riding a popular wave, as he’s emerged as one of 2018’s biggest artists. Right, right, now, though Travis Scott is the one that has the game on lock. But, Playboi Carti has more than proven that he’s a fluke.
Back in 2015, Playboi Carti first emerged, but when he didn’t follow up, was regarded as a one hit wonder. Last year, Playboi Carti proved that wasn’t the case. This year, he has shown he has what it takes to be a star, performing with Nicki Minaj on “Saturday Night Live.”
Playboi Carti recently was in LA and he talked to J Cruz on “The Cruz Show,” at Power 106. The young star mentioned that he and Frank Ocean did some collaborations and have several unreleased songs together. He would also mention hisĀ Die Lit album and going clubbing with his dad.
