Playoff Rondo wins Twitter after guiding Pelicans to a sweep over the Portland Trail Blazers, as fans say there should be no “Playoff P,” with “Playoff” being reserved for Rondo

There’s definitely something cooking, down in New Orleans, with them young Pelicans coming of age. This is a team that is way better than people thought. During the offseason, Rajon Rondo joined the team, and has been that X factor.
Rajon Rondo joined a core that already included Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday. Last year, DeMarcus Cousins joined the team, via a trade with the Kings, during All-Star weekend. With Rondo in the mix, it has made for a strong Pelicans team.
This season, they flew under the radar, but they were ready for Dame and CJ, sweeping the Blazers. Yes, Anthony Davis made franchise history, with his scoring, and Jrue Holiday was clutch. But, Twitter says this win was all about Playoff Rondo and they said Paul George should never be called “Playoff P” again.
