During the summer of 2007, Plies rose to fame as the newest artist from the Slip-N-Slide label. Quickly, Plies became the new king of Miami and, by 2008, was a contender in the overall game. The year of 2008 saw Plies drop two albums in the same year.
Since then, Plies has not experienced the same level of mainstream success. However, in 2010, Plies did have some resurgent level of success, appearing on a couple of singles from Usher and others. But, the more recent years see Plies more on the mixtape side of things.
Like his former label-mate, Trick Daddy, Plies has found a home for himself on social media. He uses Instagram as his platform to voice a wide array of opinions, which Plies voices often. Tonight saw him and Khia going back and forth in a hilarious exchange, all of which can be found below.
