This year, plenty of wild animals have been in the middle of civilization. Particularly, alligators have been showing up all over the place. In the state of Florida, this is especially true. Given how much of Florida is already swampland, all of the development is leaving the animals with no choice. Earlier this week, there was an alligator captured by law enforcement in front of a Florida mall.

Alligators are among the most interesting and important animals in the ecosystem. First of all, gators can weigh over 1,000 pounds. In addition, their gender is determined by the temperature. While gators are long animals, most of their length comes from their tails. As a result, the tail is one of the most common defense mechanisms for them.

In Lee County, Florida, at the Coconut Point Mall, an alligator was spotted in front of the building. It’s obviously a danger to all of the people involved. As a result, the police were immediately called, and they wrangled the gator in. Before they finished handling the alligator, everyone involved took a pause to take a picture with the gator.
