Polo G and brother arrested for robbery, kidnapping and more 

On Wednesday, Polo G was detained by police at his Los Angeles home, due to him possibly harboring a fugitive. This was in regards to authorities looking for his brother and three others, on robbery charges. Therefore, it appeared that Polo wouldn’t be facing any charges.

However, Polo is in fact in serious trouble. According to TMZ, he and his brother “Trench Baby” had warrants by Burbank Police for kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, and robbery, after being released from the initial raid of the home. Furthermore, these were initially filed in April 2022.

Polo and his brother were reportedly released from custody after the initial arrest at the home, the warrants were soon handed down, at 10:30PM on Wednesday. In regards to Polo, he posted $100,000 bond at the Burbank Jail, at 4:30AM. His brother did the same, as well as an additional $100k for the LAPD case. Polo’s mother, who manages him, also went on to confirm on Instagram that Polo had been released

Meanwhile, this comes as Polo G’s “Hood Poet” album is scheduled to arrive on September 15. It’s led by singles such as “Barely Holdin’ On” and “Distraction.” The Chicago rapper is also considering retirement from music, after the album.
