Polo G gets charges in police attack case dropped

Polo G has emerged as one of the biggest rappers in the industry, as 2021 was really the year that made him a superstar. The Chicago rapper also dealt with some legal woes, in Miami. He had a listening event for his “Hall Of Fame” album, as after the event, he reportedly assaulted a police officer, after being stopped.

At the time, Polo was being arrested, but the officer soon suffered abrasions to the face and a swollen right cheek. He also reportedly got punched and elbowed to the face multiple times.

Now, Polo is putting this case behind him. According to TMZ, three charges were dropped in November, including two felonies, which were battery of a police officer and threatening a public servant. This was due to insufficient evidence.

Now, the final two charges, which were two  counts of misdemeanor resisting an officer without violence, have been dropped. This is after Polo recently completed a six-hour anger management course. This was part of thee Pre-Trial Intervention program. Polo was represented by popular Florida attorney, Bradford Cohen.

At the time of the incident last summer, Polo’s Hall Of Fame album became his first number one, on the Billboard 200 chart. It was led by the chart-topping “RAPSTAR” single.
