Polo G Scores First Number One Album With “Hall Of Fame”

Last week, Polo G delivered his third studio album, “Hall Of Fame.” This project was definitely star-studded as it was also led by the hit single, “RAPSTAR,” which was the number one album in the US and went platinum. Appearances included the late Pop Smoke, Lil Durk, Rod Wave, DaBaby, Young Thug, and also Nicki Minaj, on the latest hit record, “For The Love Of New York.”

Last week, Hall Of Fame was also projected to become the number one album in the US and now, that is official. According to Chart Data, this project sold 146,000 units in its first week. Migos’ “Culture III” album took the second spot, with 138,000, and number three went to Olivia Rodrigo’s “SOUR,” with 122,000.

Hall Of Fame is also Polo’s third consecutive top 10 album in the Billboard 200 chart. Last year, he also put out his “The Goat” album, which debuted at the number two spot.

Polo suffered a setback on the day of his album release as well, as he was in Miami for a release party. After, he and his brother were stopped and arrested by police. This was after a claim by the officer that he was attacked by the Chicago rapper. Polo ended up being bonded out by his mother though, as she claimed that he was profiled. Polo added that Miami police target rappers. Nonetheless, he is a free man now and is winning big with Hall Of Fame.
