Pooch Hall confirms he and Tia Mowry are returning to “The Game” for final season at #BETAwards, Twitter reacts #MelanieandDerwin

Long before “Empire,” “The Game” was the show that gave the hip hop audience their fix. Nine years ago, the world was introduced to Melanie and Derwin, falling in love with them. They were portrayed by Pooch Hall and Tia Mowry from 2006 through 2012, when they left the show.

The past few seasons of “The Game” have aired on BET, but without the original main characters. In the past few years, “The Game” has become nothing like that it started as. Last year, BET announced 2015 would be the final year of the show.

Tonight, the cast of “The Game” is at the BET Awards and they were discussing the final season of the show. Also in attendance was Pooch Hall, who ran up on stage to announce both he and Tia Mowry were returning for the final season. Twitter fans had a lot to say about this.
