Pooh Shiesty reportedly sentenced to 63 months in prison, for federal gun case

Pooh Shiesty sentenced to 65 months in prison for gun case

Pooh Shiesty has been facing eight years in prison, for a 2020 federal gun case. That was due to a situation in Miami, where the Memphis rapper shot a man, in a sneaker and drug deal gone wrong. Shiesty also went on to accidentally shoot a security guard at the King of Diamonds strip flub in Miami, last Memorial Day weekend.

Now, Shiesty has officially been sentenced. According to DJ Akademiks, he will be spending 63 months in prison. Shiesty was originally facing life in prison, but plead guilty to a firearms conspiracy charge. The plea got Shiesty down to 20 years, but will now spend over five years in prison.

Shiesty made a name for himself in early 2021, as he was one of Gucci Mane’s new stars at his 1017 record label. Shiesty’s “Back In Blood” single with Lil Durk then went on to become his breakout hit single. It peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is 2x platinum in the US. It then appeared on his debut “Shiesty Season” mixtape, which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. In December, Shiesty went on to released his first song from prison, “Federal Contraband Freestyle.”
