Pooh Shiesty’s Breakout Hit Single, “Back In Blood,” Featuring Lil Durk, Goes 2x Platinum

Pooh Shiesty has without a doubt, been one of the biggest starts in 2021. The Memphis rapper signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 label and appeared on the “So Icy Summer” album last year, giving fans a taste of what he’s bringing. He also put put his “Back In Blood” single, featuring Lil Durk, in November.

Back In Blood really started to take off this January after the music video was released at the top of this year. I peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and went on to appear on Shiesty’s debut mixtape, “Shiesty Season.” It then soon went platinum in the US.

Now, Back In Blood is receiving another plaque as this time, it is certified 2x platinum, according to Chart Data. This is after selling 2 million units. Last week, Back In Blood made another high-profile appearance as Shiesty put out the deluxe edition to Shiesty Season. That project contained an additional four tracks with features from G Herbo, Lil Baby, and more.

Durk and Shiesty also connected last week in the music video for “Should’ve Ducked.” This collab initially appeared on Durk’s “The Voice” album last December.
