This morning, tragic news struck of breakout Brooklyn rapper, Pop Smoke, being shot and killed in a home invasion robbery while he was staying at a West Hollywood, CA home. It turned out to be owned by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp and her husband, Edwin Arroyave. Two men ran into the home and let multiple gun shots off.
The incident occurred at 4:30am PT. Smoke was taken to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead. Now, it appears that the robbers were able to find Smoke via social media. TMZ reports that a party went down prior to the shooting. Also, Smoke posted his address on Instagram last night which was displayed on a bag.
This particular move may have been a case of flexing gone wrong. Nonetheless, Smoke didn’t deserve to be plotted on and killed. He was definitely one of the biggest rising stars in the industry as he released his “Welcome To The Party” single in 2019 along with his debut mixtape “Meet The Woo.” This month, he released the sequel.
