Post Malone and Swae Lee’s “Sunflower” goes 18x platinum
Post Malone has had a legendary career for himself, as he has eight diamond certified singles by the RIAA, in the US. Among them are “Sunflower,” which was a collaboration with Swae Lee. That record was initially released in 2018, and appeared on the “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” soundtrack.
Meanwhile, Sunflower has made even more history. According to Chart Data, it is now certified 18x platinum in the US. As a result, it is now the highest certified single in US RIAA history. Therefore, Sunflower has now surpassed Lil Nas X’s 2019 breakout “Old Town Road” single.
Meanwhile, Post Malone also has a new album on the way. This is his “Austin” album, which is set to arrive on July 28. That will serve as his fifth studio album, and his second album released, over the past year. Malone’s “Chemical” single was released in April, and was his first single of 2023.
Furthermore, Post also went on to announce his “If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying” Tour, earlier this month. That will kick off on July 8, in Noblesville, IN. The final date of the tour will conclude on August 19, in San Bernardino, CA.
