When “Power” left off, Raina (Donshea Hopkins) was brutally killed. It was a chilling scene, as Ray Ray (Marcus Callender) was looking for Tariq (Michael Rainey, Jr.) to kill him. The night of the school dance, it was Raina who confronted Ray Ray and he killed her.
But, the only reason Ray Ray knew where to find Tariq was because of how Destiny (Andrea Rachel) set him up. She and Tariq met through his hanging out with Kanan (50 Cent) and started dating. Still, he never fully knew what was on her mind.
Andrea Rachel portrays Destiny and she recently visited Hot 97, where she spoke to Ebro and Laura Stylez. The interview saw her tackle the topic of her character getting Raina killed off. She would also speak on her role in Planned Parenthood and her role on HBO’s “The Deuce.”
