Best-known for his membership with The Fugees and his “Ghetto Supastar” single with Mya, it’s been a while since Pras made headlines. For a brief period of time, Pras looked to be a budding star. A part of the solo class of 1999, Pras c0-starred with Ja Rule in the film, Turn It Up.
Eight years ago, Pras made moves towards making a comeback in the music industry before his direction shifted. Now, Pras appears more focused on his career in film and giving back to Haiti. However, Pras recently went to the studio to record some new music and things didn’t go as planned.
When Pras went to record in a North Hollywood studio in Los Angeles, he paid $5,600 upfront to the studio owners. Upon arriving, the studio was double booked and Pras was unable to record and was not refunded. Pras filed a lawsuit for $9,000, which will cover both time and travel expenses.
