It has been nearly a year since Prodigy was released from prison. In his short time back home, the Queens rapper has ruffled many feathers. The Mobb Deep rapper wrote a tell-all book, which led to many rappers calling him out. Cadillac Tah, formerly of Murder Inc., vented his frustration about the book on Facebook, for his many fans to see.

Prodigy was not discouraged by this, as he continued to call out fellow rappers. Among the rappers on his last was the more-notable Murder Inc. artist, Ja Rule. Unlike Tah, Ja Rule decided to ignore the diss, praising Prodigy in spite of all. In the middle of the controversy, a star was born in Wiz Khalifa.

At the time, Wiz Khalifa was fresh off the release of his Rolling Papers debut. Now, less than a year later, Wiz is preparing his sophomore album, O.N.I.F.C. Wiz Khalifa said the title of the album was derived from Prodigy’s H.N.I.C. album. At a time when Prodigy could have used this to start a feud, he took another route, as he told MTV.
