Four years ago, Top Dawg Entertainment became one of the biggest movements in hip hop. The label was always home to dope music, but it went to another level when Kendrick Lamar took off. His buzz automatically put attention on ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul.
However, each member of the label is quick to say they are the best artist on the roster. Ab-Soul is the most vocal about being the best on TDE, but it seems like he is heard from the least. Still, the music he does have is among the most dope.
Punch, the head of the label, is now out here making music too. Last night, he sounded like there was somebody else making new music. He said on Twitter that he heard a new song, or twenty from Ab-Soul, which sounds like he might have a new project in the works.
