Independence is what most people preach, during this current era. But, even with all the proof that ownership is the way to go, there are tons of artists who still dream of getting signed. With Shawn Archer, that’s not the case, not by a long shot.
Shawn Archer linked with Q The Question and signed to SKE, but that was when the work began. There were no advances, instead there were major investments in the future. The promo for his last album, Everybody Won’t Make It, was self-funded.
Last year, people got upset with Shawn Archer doing his bragging and boasting, but he was one of only a few rappers able to back up his big talking.
