Q-Tip is linking up with EDM group, Disclosure, posts photo on Instagram [PHOTO]

Last year, A Tribe Called Quest began receiving a bit more attention than they had in recent years. It all stemmed from their concert in Brooklyn with Kanye West, where popular model, Stephanie Santiago, modeled for them. In the case of Q-Tip, he also had a big showing alongside Busta Rhymes.

Before the end of 2013, they dropped their joint mixtape, The Abstract & The Dragon, which featured the “Thank You” single. Most people enjoyed the track, which also featured Lil Wayne and Kanye West. But, none of this was a solo project from Q-Tip and that’s what fans want.

Q-Tip posted on his Instagram over the weekend and it could lead people to believe he has continued work on his solo project. He posted a photo of himself alongside the EDM group, Disclosure. It’s unclear where their collaboration will wind up, but Q-Tip made it clear it would happen because he made it clear they were hitting the studio together.
