Quality Control Music honored with own day in Atlanta
Quality Control Music continues to be one of the biggest record labels in the industry. It’s been known for signing stars such as Migos, City Girls, Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, Gloss Up, Icewear Vezzo, and more. Recently, QC execs Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “P” Thomas reached a deal with Hybe to acquire them, for $320 million. However, Lee and Thomas still have control of the label’s moves.
However, Quality Control Music continues to be recognized in a major way. Therefore, on Wednesday, it was revealed that they received their own day, in Atlanta, where they’ve been based out of since 2012.
“Mark your Calendars! We are excited to announce, Today March 15th, 2023 has officially been chosen to be “QC Day” 🏆🙌🏾 #QCTheEmpire #WeAreTheCulture,” said QC on their social media feeds.
As a result, QC was honored at the Georgia State Capitol building, in downtown Atlanta. The honor was bestowed upon them by State Representative Park Cannon. Lee and Thomas were honored for working diligently at their craft, and bringing in millions of dollars in revenue, along with notoriety to the City of Atlanta.
