Quando Rondo arrested on drug charges in Georgia
Quando Rondo has been one of Georgia’s hottest rising artists since 2020, as he’s signed to NBA Youngboy‘s Never Broke Again record label. However, Rondo is in more legal issues this weekend, as he’s been arrested on drug charges in Georgia, as well as 18 others involved in these deals, according to TMZ.
Rondo’s arrest occurred on Friday, as he was booked on charges of two counts of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s controlled substances law, one count of participating in criminal activity affiliated with a street gang, and one count of illegal use of a cell phone to facilitate a drug deal.
Furthermore, Rondo and his crew reportedly conducted many of these drug deals from October 2022-June 2023. In addition to this, Rondo had another defendant negotiate drug prices and made travels to Macon, GA in order to pay the supplier. Currently, Rondo is being incarcerated at Chatham County Jail, which is located in his hometown of Savannah, GA.
This arrest comes after Rondo released his new “Recovery” album, in March. 20 new songs were available, including a collaboration with NBA Youngboy on “Give Me A Sign.”
