On Sunday afternoon, Quavo hosted his 7th annual Huncho Day event, in his hometown area of Atlanta. Moreover, this was once again held at his alma mater, Berkmar High School, which is in the Atlanta suburb of Lilburn. At Quavo’s Huncho Day, various celebrity basketball and football games are conducted, as well as giving back to good causes
For 2024’s Huncho Day event, those in attendance were able to check out the Team Huncho vs. Team Druski Celebrity Football Game. Furthermore, the basketball game featured team captains Quavo and LSU’s Flau’jae Johnson facing off against Druski and the Ray-Ray McCloud of the Atlanta Falcons.
In addition to the exciting sports events at Huncho Day, Quavo also went on to debut the first-ever “Quavo Cares Social Impact Hub.” This is a space for community-based organizations to provide essential resources for Atlanta families, which is powered by Everytown. As a result, there were 4,000 attendees from Atlanta and raised an impressive $50,000 for The Rocket Foundation in support of gun violence prevention.
