Quavo releases hoodies to benefit Takeoff’s The Rocket Foundation

It’s been over five and. half months, since the world lost Takeoff. That was as a result of being hit in the middle of a shooting, outside of a Houston bowling alley. Fellow Migos rapper Quavo was there as well, as he was in the middle of a heated dice game. Therefore, the shooting soon occurred after. 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark went on to be arrested over a month later, was able to post $1 million bond, this past January.

Meanwhile, Quavo has since been honoring Takeoff online, as well in his latest solo music. Now, he has announced on Instagram, that new hoodies have been released, to honor Takeoff. Proceeds of these items will benefit Takeoff’s The Rocket Foundation.

Quavo has also been very consistent, in his single releases. These include the Takeoff tribute “Without You,” which he went on to perform at the recent Grammys, with Maverick City. Quavo has also released records such as “Greatness,” and “Honey Bun.” Last fall, he and Takeoff released their joint album, “Only Built got Infinity Links,” which debuted at number seven in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart.
