Quavo’s assistant, Joshua Washington, was one of two other people shot, as a result of Takeoff shooting

Quavo’s assistant was injured in Takeoff shooting

Earlier this week, hip-hop lost one its most talented acts, in Takeoff. The Migos rapper ended up being shot and killed, after shots were fired outside of a Houston bowling alley. Quavo was seen arguing with a group of men, and that soon escalated into a scary situation, with two guns going off. Takeoff was hit in the head and torso.

Takeoff died at the scene, as Quavo attempted to get help from people nearby. A 9/11 call heard him asking what a nurse who was at the bowling alley should do, to help. Police have since asked the public for assistance in finding the shooter, as there has already been one person of interest.

However, as Takeoff was shot, two others were, as well. One of these individuals was actually Quavo’s assistant, 23-year-old Joshua “Wash” Washington, according to TMZ. He went on to be treated at a local hospital, for non-life-threatening injuries.

Joshua works at Quavo’s Huncho Records label, and has reportedly been close with him, for years. The other injured individual was a 24-year-old woman, who also had non-life-threatening injuries.

Quavo has yet to publicly speak on the shooting, understandably. Offset has since changed his Instagram avatar, to a photo of Takeoff.
