Quavo’s “Rocket Power” debuts at number 18 in US

On August 18, Quavo went on to release his second solo studio album, “Rocket Power.” This project is named after his late nephew and former Migos group member, Takeoff. Quavo initially aimed at an August 4 release date, but set it back to the 18th, to finalize more plans. At the time, he put out a very impressive trailer for Rocket Power, which included a Takeoff tribute.

As a result, Quavo came through with 18 songs, including lead singles such as “Turn Yo Clic Up” featuring Future, and “Greatness.” Furthermore, the Atlanta rapper also collaborated with Takeoff, Young Thug, Baby Drill, and Hunxho.

Meanwhile, the first week numbers are finally officially in, for Rocket Power. This project had a very solid release, as it debuts at number 18 in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart, according to Chart Data. This comes after selling 32,000 units.

There has also been rumors about a possible deluxe edition of Rocket Power, as Quavo went on to address that on Twitter, on Sunday. He said that a deluxe won’t happen, but emphasized that Rocket Power is “the realist album out.
