The biggest breakout R&B artist in the game, Queen Naija has been bubbling for the past few years. By 2018, she became a household name, already big on social media. This social media fame soon led to a deal with Capitol Records.

Queen Naija became a YouTube star, after competing on “American Idol,” in 2014. She stuck to the script, performing her records, while also sharing her life. This built her a huge following and her music blew up.

After Queen Naija’s “Medicine” single blew up, originally released in 2017, she dropped her self-titled EP, in 2018. In 2019, she began working onĀ misunderstood, her debut album, dropping non-album singles, during that time. Now, her album is out, and Queen Naija has reason to celebrate, as her debut album debuted at number one on the Billboard Top R&B Albums Chart.
