Quincy talks role in #STAR, relationship with Al B. Sure! and Diddy, remaking “Nite N’ Day,” and more with #TheBreakfastClub [VIDEO]

Since 2015, Quincy has kept himself in the spotlight. Initial rumors emerged of Quincy turning down a role on “Empire,” due to them wanting the rights to his music. Later rumors said Diddy was suing the series and blocked Quincy from appearing.

Quincy would address these rumors, denying all of it. However, he did confirm that his only grimace was “Empire” wanting to lock him down to a recording contract. Months later, Quincy signed with his father’s label, Bad Boy Records.

Recently, Quincy appeared on “The Breakfast Club,” talking to DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God. Today’s show, Angela Yee was not available for it, but Quincy gave an interesting interview, where he discussed joining “STAR,” after not doing “Empire,” his pairing with Ryan Destiny (Derek and Alex), and his father situation. He talked about Al B. Sure! and the “Nite N’ Day” remake, and Diddy.
