R. Kelly continues to get exposed for having sex with teenage girls as described on Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly documentary series which aired for three straight days last week. Survivors documented what they went through with him along with his relationship with a very young Aaliyah. He supposedly had sex with her on a tour bus and videotaped other women as he put them through physical abuse as well. For the sex tape incident that he was on trial for, he got off after the family of the girl in the video said that it wasn’t her with him. Many suspected that they got paid off.
Many notable names have spoken against Kelly since then such as Meek Mill, Bun B, and John Legend and Charlamagne Tha God, who both spoke on the documentary. Seeing how much of a monster Kelly was has now prompted an investigation in Georgia for his actions, according to TMZ.
The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office launched this investigation shortly after Surviving R. Kelly concluded. Several survivors have been contacted so far along with Asante McGee, who escaped from Kelly’s suburban Atlanta home. Jocelyn Savage was also a victim of Kelly and Chief Investigator Cynthia Nwokocha has been in contact with the lawyer for her family.
Expect authorities to crack down on Kelly harder than ever since Surviving R. Kelly is now over. Kelly’s behavior has been swept under the rug for over a decade now and we will see if justice will be served.
