All people were created equal and the United States touts itself as the nation of freedom. But, since July 2016 came, it feels more like a prison and people are supposedly free. Worse than jail, young black people are being beaten and murdered by those hired to protect and serve.
Being clear, not every police officer is racist and violent, so the shootings of those police officers wasn’t necessary. However, it was just as wrong for Tollette George, Alton Sterling, and all of the others to have their lives taken. There has to be common ground.
Not everyone feels this way, as there is one Dallas police officer and his wife who find this to be funny. Fameolous had the photos from this officer’s social media shared on their Twitter. On Instagram and Twitter, he and his wife and all kinds of racist remarks, including “pants up, don’t loot,” and calling the person he dragged a “little hood Barbie,” even incorporating use of Birdman’s “respek,” heartless.
