It goes without saying what Raekwon has given to the culture. Rising to fame in the early 1990s with Wu-Tang Clan, Raekwon soon went solo to much success. But, he would take a six year hiatus from the game and his presence was greatly missed.
Raekwon has been on it since 2009, however. This time period has seen him release at least one new project every year. When he isn’t releasing a mixtape or an EP, he drops a solo album or a collaborative album, saying on people’s minds.
Hot 97 sat down with Raekwon this morning, as he talked to Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez. Definitely a lengthy interview, Raekwon talked about his relationship with Drake and his Wu-Tang history. From there, he went on to discuss Fly International Luxurious Art, which is his new album.
