In recent years, Raekwon has been the most-visible member of the Wu-Tang Clan making music. Back in 2009, Raekwon released Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Pt. II. This was a time when rappers were doing sequel albums and his was considered a classic.
Raekwon, however, hasn’t released an album since 2011. The time in between has seen Raekwon deliver several mixtapes and EPs, so he’s put something out every year. In 2013, Raekwon announced F.I.L.A. (Fly International Luxurious Art), which is coming this April.
Sway recently had Raekwon sit down with him at Shade 45 for “Sway In The Morning.” In the interview, Raekwon reflected on his humble beginnings alongside his group mates with Wu-Tang Clan. He went on to speak in depth about the new album that fans can expect on April 28.
