Rajon Rondo signs two-year contract with the Chicago #Bulls

Rajon RondoNot too long ago, Rajon Rondo looked poised to become the next major star in the NBA. A longtime member of the Boston Celtics, Rondo became a championship point guard when Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen joined the team. Soon, Rajon Rondo became the team’s leader.

As the Garnett/Allen/Paul Pierce trio began to age, the Big 3 were all traded. Leaving the team to Rajon Rondo, the Celtics soon were out of playoff contention. Not long after this, Rajon Rondo was shipped off to the Dallas Mavericks and then the Sacramento Kings.

Rajon Rondo has now signed with the Chicago Bulls, the team that nearly dethroned his Celtics in 2009. With Derrick Rose now a member of the Knicks, the Bulls need a new point guard. Signing a two year, partially-guaranteed deal, Rondo is now questioned as to how he’d fit with the Bulls.
