Rajon Rondo to the Knicks? Twitter is skeptical about the Knicks landing him, because they’re rumored to land a big player every summer, Lakers fans want Rondo to stay and win another title, while Knicks fans want John Wall, or CP3

Rajon Rondo definitely had a great series, in the 2020 NBA Finals, as his Los Angeles Lakers beat the Miami Heat, to win the championship. Rondo was a key piece in the Lakers' title run, which delivered him his second championship. Since then, rumors have started about the Knicks pursuing him in free agency, leading to NBA fans being skeptical of the Knicks signing him, Lakers fans wanting him to stay and win more titles with them, and Knicks fans, themselves, wanting the team to pursue John Wall, or Chris Paul.During the “Big Three” era, of the Boston Celtics, Rajon Rondo rose to become the leader of that team. The Celtics’ front office made a bold decision, as their stars aged. Their decision was to ship the older stars out and make Rondo the face of the franchise.

Rajon Rondo promptly led the Celtics to one of the NBA’s worst records and 2014 saw him traded. This span of time saw Rondo become a journeyman, playing in Dallas and Chicago. When he landed in New Orleans, he and Anthony Davis bonded, later both became Lakers.

In the 2020 NBA Playoffs, the Los Angeles Lakers consistently dismantled teams. It was LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the way, but Rajon Rondo doing everything else, as the Lakers took out the Blazers, Rockets, Nuggets, and then Miami Heat for the title. Yesterday, rumors started about Rondo being targeted by the New York Knicks, in free agency.

On Twitter, fans clowned the Knicks for always targeting free agents, but never landing them, while Lakers fans want Rajon Rondo to stay and win another title with them, and Knicks fans wanting John Wall, Chris Paul, or Russell Westbrook, over Rajon Rondo.
