Randall Emmett talks Tupac Shakur biopic, says filming begins in June and Afeni Shakur will executive produce [VIDEO]

Back when The Notorious B.I.G. biopic was announced, there were rumblings of a Tupac film also being in the works. Since 2010, talk has ensued about such a film. But, the film has yet to come to light in the years since then.

Randall Emmett is soon going to change this, as he is one of the key components behind a new Tupac film. A life as prolific as Tupac Shakur’s takes careful thinking and planning. Emmett has done just that with the casting and production for this film.

Collider.com recently sat down with Randall Emmett and he spoke on the upcoming Tupac Shakur biopic. Answering a question many wanted to know, Randall Emmett said the new movie is set to begin filming in June. A move that everyone should approve of, Randall Emmett said Afeni Shakur will serve as the film’s executive producer.
