Last month, Troy Ave made a bet against whomever that his next album would be album of the year. The bet was set at $50,000 and Ransom was the first person to take him up on this bet. But, instead of a friendly wager taking place, Troy Ave made it clear this challenge was only for relevant rappers.
Mostly, Ransom is known as being a mixtape rapper, but there is much more to him than this. Last year, Ransom received a lot of attention due to his back-and-forth with Nicki Minaj. This definitely helped to bring publicity to both Ransom and over to Nicki Minaj.
But, Ransom has recently been going back and forth with Troy Ave. Upping the ante, already, Ransom has plans of shooting a video in Troy Ave’s neighborhood. Now, he is on his Instagram with a video of him counting up $50,000 in cash, obviously hinting at the bet.
