Meanwhile, Rapsody has also just announced her headlining Please Don’t Cry North American Tour. This will kick off on September 19, in Philadelphia. 18 dates will be available in total, as it’ll conclude on October 27, in Rapsody’s hometown of Raleigh, NC.
Furthermore, Rapsody’s South African shows will be added at a later date. The European dates will kick off on September 6, in Berlin, Germany. Those will conclude on September 15, in London, UK. Niko Brim will also be a special guest performer throughout these dates. Presale tickets for the tour can be purchased with the code LOVEDONES.
Rapsody’s last project came in August 2019, which was her “Eve” album. This contained 16 songs, as well as features from J. Cole, JID, Sir, Queen Latifah, and more. Every song on the album was named after impactful women, such as Aaliyah, Afeni Shakur, Oprah, and others. As a result, Eve went on to peak at number 76 in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. Since that time, fans have praised Rapsody as one of the most impressive lyricists in hip-hop.
