Arguably the most-gangsta R&B singer in the game, Ray J is back in the headlines due to his “I Hit it First” single. No, Ray J does not mention any names, but in the single artwork and in the context of the song, it is clear who he is mentioning. One year after releasing hisĀ Raydiation album, Ray J made bigger headlines.
Launching the career of his famous ex-girlfriend, Ray J soon found his own success with reality television. Before the “wives” era of VH1, Ray J assumed the role Flavor Flav once held with the network. Ray J did two seasons of “For the Love of Ray J” and also did two seasons of “The Family Business.”
Three years later, Ray J is plotting his return to television. Stopping by Power 105.1’s morning show, “The Breakfast Club,” Ray J talked about this new television show and also the “I Hit it First” single.
